Last night was our first night with Logan. He did pretty well and didn'tcry too much except when I woke him up for a potty break at 1:30 a.m. and put him back in his crate. He wanted to play rather than pee! He doesn't seem to pee very much although he's drinking water.
Questions: He is so tiny that the grass nearly swallows him up. Plus, the grass was wet last night and he was shivering and soaking wet. Has anyone else had to deal with this?
I tried using newspaper in the house, but he wonders from it and won't pee. I keep putting him back on the paper and telling him "go potty," but he won't. So I tried a puppy litter box, but he tries to eat the litter and his poop. The reason there was poop in the box is because just as he started to go in the house, we whisked him to the litter box where he finished his business.
Any suggestions? Our last dog was super easy to housetrain outside on the grass, but Logan is proving to be a different story
