I do feel bad for Ellen, Portia and the family, but feel that if someone truly cared about the dog they got from a rescue they would of bothered to read the contract, thought about bringing the animal in their home, if whether or not their cats would get along with it.....

I think someone who cares puts more thought into bringing a pet home, they do not give it up after 2 weeks. The amount of money someone spends does not make them care or be good animal owners.

Then they gave the dog illegally ( I know they claim not to have known that, but all they would of had to do was take the time to read the contract)away to someone else after after spending tons of money on training that they did not even give a chance to work does not show me attachment.

If they did some planning about the responsibility of pet ownership and if the rescue would of screened them better, none of this would of happened.
There are two sides to every story and I am somewhere in the middle right now until we get all the facts. Now they are saying "under 14" was not a part of the contract so right now it's hard to tell what correct info we have.
