I think the positive points of raw diet far out weigh the false sense of security people get by using processed kibble. I've heard a lot of people/clients going on about "germs!" and "salmonella!!!" but a dog's digestive system is tailored to handle raw meat because (as someone already said) that's what they ate for thousands of years before kibble was very recently invented.
I have a question though!
How exactly do you feed raw meaty bones? I went out today and bought a pack of 2" Primal beef bones and my babies went absolutely NUTS over them. (Earlier I was playing w/ Raja and noticed how ick his teeth are starting to look so it was definitely time for some RMB's.) I sat on the kitchen floor holding the bones for them because I didn't want them to touch the floor. Then I decided to go out on the front porch (concrete) so I didn't have the hold the bones but they got all dirty & ick from being chewed on the porch.
