Same thing happened to me, but since I have a king size bed, I did not notice it until it was fossilized and dusty ...(my sniffer must be broken)

I had a base built around the bottom of the bed to keep her from going under there ....

you might want to just put things under the bed to prevent her from sneaking under the bed ...

these little Yorkies are crafty (and amusing) and they do keep you on your toes ....
