I have a pair of 6# Yorkies. Samson is 16 months old and Delilah almost 2 years. They are inseparable. Deli was in heat 2 months ago and I just let nature take its' course. I'm not sure if they actually locked as I'm not always at home. Bottom line - she's not preggers.

Do I need to try to separate them the next time she's in heat and just let them be together when I want them to mate? I'll appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
