Yes, she still could be and SHOULD be. Please listen to the advice that you have been given here regarding how to prepare yourself. You seem to be placing your main emphasis on her age still, which is the LAST factor you should be considering right now.

Attending seminars, and reading up are good starts, but a book cannot tell you if you should breed your female or if she is a good candidate. That will only come with her being handled and examined by those who are very educated and experienced with the breed.
In regards to c-sections, some female do require one in order to safely deliver the pups. If you vet advises they they feel ahead of time that your female will have to have one, then she is not a good candidate for breeding. A c-section is not an option or preference you choose--a female should only have a section when it is the ONLY option for safe delivery for both her and the pups...a last resort, if you will.
