This sounds like she MAY have a mild case of luxating patella. I'm no vet but I do have some experience with that issue. Our toy poodle had a mild case of it in one leg and every great once in a while he would come to me with his leg pulled up. I would gently straighten it out and massage his kneecap until it popped back in place. It was never bad enough to require surgery. Just thought I'd share that in case your vet thinks that's what she has. Glad she's feeling better now. It very well could be that it popped back in place overnight. Dax (our poodle) never had any problems or seemed to be in pain after his knee joint (for lack of better words) was back in place.
