Where we used to live, when I only had 2
, I took them to the groomer at our vet's office. She had to "rent" the space from him, always had a bag of home made treats and a new scarf for them, kept me supplied with shampoo & grooming spray (at no extra charge) & was excellent with them both. She charged me $44 for both of them & I'd give her $50. When Rocky was born she was determined that I was going to learn to groom my own dogs. So on grooming day I would go with my dogs & watch/help her groom them. She was a wonderful teacher. We moved 3 years ago, she still sends them new scarves for the holidays and we still send her a present at Christmas.
