They can get a mucous poop from eating some bizarre thing too - like a piece of toy, or some household thingy. Maybe watch for her next 2 poos and bring one to the vet if there is still mucous. Mucous is from ibd/ibs too, but it probably isnt' that.
No...no red in it...except for the mucus it looks fine.. I have both of the girls on Canidae all stages and have for almost a year now. Do you think she could have mucus with more than one poop if it were the anal glands emptying?
