If your not comfortable giving certain live plants, then there are those really cute tiny Christmas trees, real and artificial that make a cute counter decoration. You could even buy the plain ones and add your own special touch to them. I made dough art one year and put staff members names on them for the tiny trees. I did white bones along with the staff names for the Vets. office. They each had something to take home after they closed for Christmas. Just another idea. |
I haven't either heard of any deaths either, just something I wanted to mention. My neighbor has a huge oleander that hangs across our wall so I agree with you on that as well. I just like to be cautious and pay to have the dang thing trimmed back off our property as I know they won't.
Your idea of handmade ornaments is GREAT! I just might go that route as I love my vet along with his staff.
Not directed at you, I did not mean to make it sound as thou I gift their office for "favors", far from it, I have been going there for 20 years, I really like my Vet, he cares about me and my kids, and I care about him and his staff.....

I like to show my appreciation, and they show their appreciation in return. Hope that makes sense.......
