Not sure I agree with the thought that you are less able to care for a child as you get older. I think it depends on each individual. I had my 1st at 29 and my second at 38 and I think I have a lot more patience and value the little things in life so much more as I get older. I think I would've been a much worse parent if I had had kids when I was 18. Actually, I raised my younger siblings when my mom died at age 37 (see, we never do know) and I regret many mistakes I made way back then. Understandably maybe but I wish I could've know then what I know now and it would've made for a much better life for my sisters and brother.

Again, everyone is different and I guess we all need to make our own decisions....
