Well, as Sarge is a mixed breed, I'd have to say in our situation it was not wrong. I do think the careless breeding of inexperienced breeders is a NO-No, BUT, my breeder was wonderful with 35 yrs of experience. She has only been doing mixes for 10yrs, but thats still more than most. She had both bloodlines (3 generations worth) of my puppy so she was able to guarentee any health issues. I can see, however, how most mixed-breedings are done impulsively by people that are undeserving of dogs in the first place. I found a good one.
