They have diagnosed Sophie's problem as Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She also has acid reflux. I don't know if your dog has the same condition, but the symptoms sound very similar to Sophie's. Additionally, every vet that has seen Sophie has asked if she was experiencing diarrhea and vomiting. Although Sophie did not display these symptoms, apparently they are very common with this disease.

Thank you for the idea. I'll have to bring that up to my vet.

He eats for me a little bit, usually just licking it off my finger, but there are occasions where he will eat out of the bowl. He ate on his own last night, so we were hoping maybe things would turn around today, but he again snubbed his nose whenever the food was brought out. I just don't know what could be going on with him. The problem with his symptoms is that his symptoms describe so many different sicknesses that it's hard to pinpoint which one.

Also, he's been having solid poop for a while now and hasn't vomited for a week and a half now, so nothing is really stopping him from being healthy again besides the fact that he just won't eat on his own.
He's off the IV for right now, but his hydration levels are dropping a little. We'll have to see how he progresses through the day I suppose.
