I hate it when people are rude like that! I used to compliment people's dogs in PetSmart, but I quit for the most part because of the attitude people can have sometimes.
I had a incident with someone the other day and became one of those 'rude people.'
We had some people walking down the street the other day while we had Lexi out in the yard the other day.
The lady stopped and said, "Is that a
Yorkie?"
I nodded and with a look of horror she said, "I think that is the biggest Yorkie I have ever seen!"
This caught me off guard and touched a nerve so I snapped back, "Well, she's only 6 pounds, so you can't have seen very many Yorkies in your life then."
She looked at me, and rudely said, "Well, I guess I'm just used to seeing the
teacup Yorkies."
I said, "Well seeing as there really is no such thing, I bet that is really a sight."
She kept walking.
