Thank you for all of the responses. It seems like every rescue/shelter Yorkie I find is gone by the time I inquire about it. Guess that just shows how popular they are. I know there's one out there waiting for us though. I wish I could talk my hubby into actually buying a puppy but he won't let me spend that much money. He doesn't have a problem w/ spending money on Sugar now that we have her and he spoils her rotten but he can't get past the initial sticker shock on a puppy. I'd be happy going either way. I really enjoyed getting Sugar and being able to spoil her. She wasn't abused in any way by her previous owner, but she was in her crate the majority of the time and was only "free" for a couple of hours a day. Now she's only in her crate a couple of hours per week and she's so happy. I can't wait to find a little cuddle-bug to be a playmate/best friend for her.
