We use the pads and they go on them fine at night and all day. Its just teh minute we let them come downstairs with us they manage to go right on teh rug (when there is a pad down there) or when i first get home i let them out for a bit and then they roam around while i make dinner and always manage to go somewhere other than where they are supposed to, but i feel terrible always having them locked up somewhere
