I did read your original post and felt so bad for you and your pup.
If it were me and wanted the pup to have a chance in life I would
put the stomach pump in. They do that in humans also so I was not
shocked when I read it. I would wait until he gained some before
placing him back with mommy. He seems to need that starting chance
to get going. Hope all is well with the inside of his mouth. Maybe
he can't suckle for some reason.
Prayer's coming your way for him to survice and be fine. Your really
going through alot and I hope and pray he is ok in the end.
