You will feel better... Nothing better to brighten your mood and that of your children then to have a little pup around. I recently lost my beloved Brandy, an 11.5 year old Rottweiler. I had her since she was 9 weeks and it was truly devasting. Everyone said take the time to grieve and not to jump to quickly into getting another dog. But I don't regret it. Georgia is a handful, but right now, that is just what the doctor ordered! I am so busy with her that it takes my mind off of all the petty day to day things and keeps me from being depressed. I still cry all the time, but she gives me this look like "what did I do?" and I just tell her I love her I just miss her big sister.
Going through seperation is never a fun mood lifting time. But think about it like this...puppy training takes work but its worth not thinking of all the things that pissed and piss you off about your ex! Your mantra will be: I rather clean this piss then sit here being pissed! ahaha! And enjoy your future with a LOYAL and LOVING companion that never fails! |
