Your vet gave you the wrong info. I have ULTRASOUNDS done on my bitches. It shows puppies if they are at least 28 days pregnant. My regular vet doesn't do ultrasounds but I take them to a vet in the next town for this and it is only 43.00. That is what I recommend for you to do first. then look at your options.
