Good reply to that nasty lady!
It is none of her business what you do with your dog. You don't tell her how to train her horses.
I have a couple of replies for the next time this happens:
"I really didn't ask for your opinion"
"It is pretty pathetic that you get your laughs by making fun of a little dog" (for the rat comment)
