I purchased maltese from Tiny Darlings while I was waiting for my yorkies to come. We had been corresponding online for a very long time. I decided to purchase yorkies from her to add to my maltese. She promised to help me get set up in business with the yorkies.

I had paid for 4 yorkies. It took me about 8 months to even receive one. I had paid for one with a check but had used my credit card for the other 3 so I had just disputed those on my credit card and had them charged back to Jan through Paypal. The yorkie I received had CKC papers instead of AKC. That was a lie. I paid for AKC. She is a beautiful dog but she had a horrible underbite. Jan knew I wanted the dog for breeding. She said that the dog had been seen by 2 vets and they did not catch it. My 12 year old daughter saw it.

I sold Jasmine to someone as a pet only- taking a loss.

The male maltese had horrible teeth. $300 later and 10 teeth gone and all cleaned- guess what- no akc papers ever came. I did get her to reimburse me for most of the dental bill.

The 2 adult females- 1 had a litter of puppies but I have found her a home. She is not really the quality or size for breeding. The other female had some kind of a problem where she would have needed surgery to be able to breed. Both girls have homes now and are happy pets. But I had to work with them for a long time to get them used to people.

A lady whom I have become friends with bought a male maltese from Jan- guaranteed to be 3 lbs. He is about 9-10 and she has never received papers on him. Another paid for a maltese from Jan for her daughter's birthday for last April. Jan told her the dog died. This lady had purchased a female maltese. After reporting Jan to the BBB- Jan asked her if she wanted a male yorkie. To date- this woman has received no dog and no refund. Jan told the BBB that she had already refunded the money.

We had become friends over a year period of time. She invited me to come to her home when I come to visit my brother in Mississippi. We had spoken on the phone and online. All before I decided to purchase anything from her. You can't trust anyone.

I am going to send this link to my 2 friends who were duped by Jan as well.

She kept telling me she felt so bad for all of the trouble she had caused me and she was going to send me a puppy at no charge- one of her best. My husband always said- don't hold your breath.

I hope they put her out of business. She has maltese again also. The poor little dogs.
