Your Yorkie's ears will stand up on their own. They dont' need to be taped. Max's ears didn't totally stand up til he was about 14-16 weeks old....one ear was standing up at 12 weeks, but the other one was flopped over til he was 14-16 weeks old, and one day...presto! Two ears fully erect.
