in the males, however, if there is another male brought into the household
it may start up. When my son's male cavilier and my daughter's male
pug visit Buddy never marks. My daughter's pug does and it make me
so mad. I guess it depends on the dog. Males are just plain lover's.
This is so true my Toby still follows me everywhere...room to room, bathroom... EVERYWHERE and sleeps in bed with me all night. I may stay up late so he'll go and sleep with the kids but as soon as I go up those stairs hes right behind me ready to go to bed...aww my little lover boy.

On the potty issue... my dog took about 6 months for me to trust him completly in the house but I leave and I know he wont go [ke knows it's his house too, and wants to keep it clean] but he will mark everybush and post in our parking lot...LOL. All in all you have to see which puppy boy or girl stands out to you..look for personality not sex.....good luck!
