...So I'm not the only one. Some techs bug me. Ellie went for her bile acids a few weeks ago. I left her there and when we got home we noticed her neck was REALLY red and bruised. I wasn't exactly happy. That happens when they stick the needle in too far (in this case it was because Ellie is wiggly). The vet wanted Ellie back two days later for another blood draw. This time we asked the tech if they could draw it cephalic. She said they would try. Then the vet comes in and says they can't because the vein will collapse with the amount they need. She said she would draw it though (she promised to try her best not to bruise her)

. What do you know...no bruise.

I keep trying to tell myself that techs are trained to do that stuff but I am not seeing much proof. Sorry to all the techs on here. I am sure you are wonderful at what you do.
