Sadly, I agree that it is like the street drug industry, and as much as we want it to stop, it's not going to any time soon.
While educating people will help some, there will always be those people who just say... "well, it's not going to stop, and those puppies do need a home anyway" and will purchase from a pet store. Which is true... I feel so bad for those babies, because they do deserve just as much love as a baby from reputable breeder does. It's like we are punishing them dogs, for what those millers are doing. It's so not fair to them.... |
