Someone comes along and wants to help out people without charging a single dime and the only thing you can say is that I am trying to advertise myself--while everyone else is making sure their website link is on EVERY post of their own? Uh?
I am not even a retailer. If you go to Bella POOCH - the only thing a consumer can do is sign up for Bella POOCH Membership - which hasn't even launched yet.
Do you think I am soliciting my services to attract other business owners? Why would I do that? I have enough business coming in as it is. And if I was independently wealthy - I would consult for free, but alas, I am not. I LOVE what I do. I LOVE helping people. Why do you or anyone else feel the need to twist my advice or words around and say that I am doing for myself?
What should I have thought of some other screen name and posted anonymously? Would that make you feel better?
Someone sent me a private email a few minutes ago asking me to take a look at her website. I told her I would love too...and I am not even going to mention a thing about my services or fees. I WANT to help her. Please tell me: what is wrong with wanting to help people?
My target business is a startup business owner launching an offline luxury pet boutique. OFFLINE. And while I work with many designers, I sell a great deal of product for them each year. I deliver to them boutiques and companies that will remain in business for years to come.....but, yet you tell me that I am doing it to advertise my services?
Where have I done that?
I have offered my PROFESSIONAL opinion and some of you judge me for that opinion. I am truly sorry if I offended anyone on this forum, but I am going to continue to post on this website and offer FREE business and marketing advice in order to help someone's company grow. It's to the industry's benefit that consumers purchase from retailers and designers sell to retailers....and yes, that ALL professional business and marketing consultants as well as
PR, advertising and promotion experts help where they can to build this niche industry and support the small business owners.
Good thing I didn't post a picture of my Westie on my profile....I wouldn't want anyone to think I am trying to show her off!
