My story is odd too. I was looking for a Yorkie and there was an ad in the paper and I called the number and it was a lady in Mississippi (about 100 miles from me) We talked and I told her what I was looking for etc. She was such a nice person on the phone I felt she would be a good breeder to buy from. I didn't have enough money to purchase a dog but was beginning to look. We talked a couple more times and then on a Saturday she called me and told me to come get my puppy. I told her I was not financially ready to buy a dog yet and she said never mind about the money. I went down that Sunday and ended up with her giving me a puppy. She said I could send her the money but if it was a hardship to never mind she was just glad to find him a good home. She had 4 puppies and let me pick the one I wanted. I kept saying that she didn't know me and she said she felt she did and I brought my puppy home. He had ear mites and a slight cough but the vet treated both those things and pronounced him very healthy. He really is very healthy and so playful and happy. I have tried to call her since to ask her a few questions and she hasn't returned my calls. That was 2 months ago. I have sent her some money but I just think this whole thing is odd. |
