Thank you all for all the great advise. To those that ask about the night light. yes he has a nigh light on next to his crate. Spend a night on the hardwood floor next to him and, he slept just fine. I hava a one and a half year old Yorkie also and, he sleeps with us. I don't want to put them together as of right now because I don't trust the older one that much alone with the baby. I will put the create by my bed tonight and see what happen. I'm too old to sleep on the hardwood floor.
