Sorry to disagree, but my 12 week old pup is completely potty trained. She uses her pee pad when she's inside - I usually take her outside for it but she uses the pee pad when she needs to go.

I trained Suzy to go by putting her on it when she woke up and after she ate... she doesn't like people watching when she's doing her thing, so I don't look and don't let her go off it until she's gone. When she did her business I'd give her a treat and plenty of praise. It took a week of doing this but now she does it 99% of the time.

Good luck with training your new puppy, it can be done it just takes a little work.
