Mine have slept in bed with me from day one so I am no help to you....is this an option for you???

I also wanted to add...mine have NEVER had an accident in our bed...they seem to know its THEIR bed too and dont want to soil it?? You could always give it a whirl..make sure you have a good mattress cover just in case though..
