I spayed Mia at 6 months she weighed 3 lbs. I was a nervous wreck. I prayed that whole night.
I cried at the vets when I dropped her off. They called me 1 1/2 hrs later to tell me she was done and they pulled 3 teeth and she came thru like a champ. I did pay for IV fluid & a cathater <sp> and pain meds. She jumped into my arms when she saw me. She was a little groggy but when that wore off I had to make sure to make her rest because she wanted to play and go up and down the stairs and never once did I have to give her the pain meds. So yes it's scary but it's over before you know it.
