That's how I feel too. Sometimes it angers me too when people put their dogs at risk. Some accidents do just happen and no one could have done anything to prevent it, but other "accidents" shouldn't have been allowed to happen. Such as, if you are going to have an intact female, watch your female 24/7 when she's in heat...don't leave her in the backyard alone for 10 minutes to go potty and then wonder how she accidentally got pregnant. It makes me sad that the dog was put in that position and mad that now the owner has a pregnant dog and knows nothing about whelping a litter...what if the dog has complications and dies? I guess that is where the welfare of the dog comes into play. When someone posts that there dog is accidentally pregnant, there is no use in telling them they made a mistake..it's already happened. Instead, when someone posts that there dog is in heat and what should they do, I make a point to tell them to watch their female like a hawk and keep her seperated from males for 4 weeks and never leave her outside unattended.
