When you have a public forum, you have so many people with differing opinions on all kinds of things, and everyone has a right to say that opinion. That's what a forum is about - to discuss things. And because everyone has such differing opinions, things do get heated sometimes. I think that most people do stay civil and say things tactfully but you do get those that are just outright rude which is not right. But say - someone posts and says "I have a 2lb teacup yorkie and I want to breed her my mom's 10lbs shihtzu" and then goes on to say that both dogs came from a petstore. Would it be right for everyone to just say "Oh, your dogs are so cute. They'll make such cute puppies. Good Luck." I don't think so - I think the person needs to be made aware of how difficult breeding is and what can go wrong. And of course you're going to get opinions on breeding mixes and petstore dogs. I dont think there is anything wrong with that as long as people say things in the nicest way they can.

Sometimes we all have to take a step back and see that although we all have different opinions, we are all connected by how much we love our yorkies and the yorkie breed. And YT is such a great place to talk about our babies, share pictures, and tell each other how wonderful our dogs are. But YT is also a great place to learn to, and when you're discussing issues you're going to have differing opinions.
