I was told that harnesses just encourage pulling behavior in the dog training class that I am taking. Harnesses are made for working dogs. A prong collar, when used properly, will not collapse trachea. A regular collar puts all of the pressure on the front of the throat when the dog pulls. A prong collar distributes the pressure without cutting off the air way. I know that they do not look very nice, but they really do work well. It is also for training only. As cute as harnesses are, they are not going to help the situation. She already has a harness and it does not work. They do make the collars. They are just hard to find. I finally found a website that sells them.

Please remember that I am going to be using the collar with a trainer and it is merely a tool.
