Your little guy is just a bit traumatized and all the sounds are so unfamiliar to him. He needs to be re-assured that he does not have to protect you from everything, as this is too big a job and will make him even more stressed. Making more strange lound noises or a strang collar that either shocks or sprays will put him in a worse state of mind and is cruel.
