Rowdy got in the litter box this summer and it made him very very sick - in fact, he spent the weekend at the hospital with a bad intestional infection. We didn't realize at the time what he was doing, but I caught him in the litter box the day we got home, so I'm sure that was what was wrong.
Now, I have the litter box elevated where the cat can jump on a table and then into the litter box, but Rowdy can't get to it.
