Thankyou, I feel like he really needs all the prayers he can get. Tried putting him back in with his maltese mom and he just lays there getting cold. She won't snuggle him. meanwhile her little girls tummy looks huge. She's been a mom before and a good one so I can't see her not popping and peeing her. She won't let me get near her.
I put the little boy on the yorkie mom and he latched on and suckled for a few minutes, I'm concerned that he's not getting any colostrum from his mom. I can't leave him with the yorkie because of the four yorkie puppies that are way bigger than him. Any suggestions on where he will sleep tonight? I have a heating pad but it turns off after like 20 min. Also how often do you think I should have him nurse on the yorkie...every hour? |
