 Timid and Shy around people?
Diesel is 2 and I really thought that by now he would have grown out of this stage. He is STILL very shy and scared around people he doesn't know. He doesn't bite never has... doesn't even growl. He just shakes and will hide or try to hide from people. Kids love him and he seems to warm up quicker to the little ones. We went back home for a reunion and this little 3 year old just LOVED Diesel. He ran from everyone and was sitting in my lap. He wouldn't go to anyone but they came to him. So this little girl was always chasing me down. lol By the end of the day she had rubbed Diesel so much that he was getting use to her. He even licked her on the nose! It was the cutest thing. At home he is a different dog. Does anyone have any ideas on how to break him of this?
