I have what is called a "Morkie", she is 1/2 maltese and 1/2 yorkie. She is nearly two and weighs 4 lbs. When we went to look at her, I had NO idea what a designer dog even was and I nearly had a fit that they were asking $200 for what I would call a mutt. BUT, she is fantastic. She was a breeze to train, has a lot of the yorkie personality and she is my best friend. I haven't ever had this small of a dog, but I lost my greyhound the year before and thought I would give the little dog thing a try. I'm hooked now. So I would consider adopting one!
