I personally have never owned a big dog. But with all of my friends' experiences with pitt bull attacks makes me very nervous and afraid when I see one, or walk near one. For that matter, I would also be very nervous around a rotti or doberman. I don't know whether the media hypes it up or I'm just nervous about those 3 breeds because of not only mine but my friends' bad attack experiences, from supposed SWEET dogs. I'm really glad some of you have them in your home, because then you can socialize and train them properly. But not every dog is the same, just like not every owner is the same. Sometimes no matter how well you love them and train them, they have a vicious side to them. Yes sometimes the owners aren't educated enough but I've heard of dogs that were so loveddd (my cousins big doberman) and one day he just attacked. Never knew why but something just snapped. I don't really have a real opinion about this issue because I can see it both ways. |
