I did! I had a lab/golden retriever for 13 years, and then when I lost her I was brokenhearted.
I got a yorkie because I wanted a very different dog than my baby that died........and boy are Yorkies different than Labs/Goldens. Both beautiful dogs, in different ways.
You can't lay on a yorkie and hug him/her, but they can lay on you. I am very happy with having a little dog, and don't have any regrets at all......
