I did! I have always had a large breed dog in my life, from goldens, to labs, to shar-peis, to my current australian shepherds. I have always wanted a yorkie though, and I finally got one, and it was the best choice of my life!
What you'll probably find if you get a yorkie is that you'll love him/her differently than you've ever loved oneof your big dogs. Yorkies are such babies, and your life will definitely change once you get one.
They aren't for everyone though, so its good that you're doing your research.
