Certain chemicals are "estrogenic", meaning that they amplify the effect of naturally produced estrogen.
So, you always just want to be moderate with those. For example, anyone w/ a history of breast cancer in their family should be careful about consuming estrogenic chemicals. People undergoing chemo for hormone-related cancers are often placed on "low-estrogenic diets".
