At three pounds your little gal is too small. People do breed them that small- how I do not know. I offer stud service and I refuse to breed females that are under 4 1/2 pounds that clients own. My own stock that I use for breeding is 5 pounds. It is unsafe for the health of your little girl. IMO it just is not right to endager the life of your gal.

Some folks will give you the song and dance that you will be ok if you use a very small male. They are very wrong and can not give you a gaurantee that your female will survive the pregnancy and birth of any puppies.
