I've posted about hawks before. We live in VA on river and we have eagles, too! I know of nothing as a preventative, I had one circle the deck while I was out with all 4 kids on the deck. I am sure that if I was not there, I would only have 3 kids. We also have a GSD in the yard, but that didn't bother the hawks. There was a news story this spring of a hawk that tried to steal a 10# Dachshund, and a boy and his dad had to fight it off. Don't let your babies out alone. |
