At the local golf course here we have a Eagle nest about 2 miles away...the eagle feeds outside the club house on a huge stocked pond everyday fish and muskrat. The closest house is about 300 yards from the club house the Eagle decided to go for their Pug!! He picked him up and then realized he was a lil heavier than he thougth and dropped him...that or just lost grip but i doubt that. The eagle uses its talon to puncture the lungs of prey so the Pug did have a puntured lung and a few broken ribs but lived (thank gawd) The owner watched the whole thing happen!!!
