Now I live out in the middle of the Mojave Desert and there are lots of hawks and some eagles and a bazillion HUge black crows. I don't worry about the crows, but I think I am going to be watching mine much closer now. That was scary.

Scary! Sounds like he was watching your little ones! At least the one I saw over my yard was busy chasing birds for his lunch!
