If you had a contract for AKC paperwork, take the breeder to court. You could at least recoup some of the money you paid her...
When I sold my puppies I made sure the new owners had the AKC paperwork in their hands whether the pups were to be registered as "pet quality" or "full registration". They were also given a copy of the litter registration, which showed the registration numbers of the sire and dam and well as some of the ancestry.
This may be a hard lesson learned, but does teach others who read your post what to look out for when buying an AKC registered yorkie puppy.
PS..You could also contact the AKC, via their website and let them know what happened. Just a thought as I don't think they can help much.
