Debi S...(I hope you read this)
I read you response above and it really relates to Roxy and TJ. I just started giving them Nutri-Cal a few weeks ago (1 inch in the AM). Their poop has been very mushy, TJ's sometimes with mucus. I have been trying to watch them but they do eat their poop, they eat the corners of the wall/moulding, etc...TJ drank soapy water just the other day and also licked the inside of the conditioner cap. I also changed their food a few weeks ago to Innova. So I do believe that all of this combined is causing their mushy poop (the color is a medium brown, it is the color of the Innova dry food and the color of nutrical). But here is my question, for the last week I have giving them the inch of Nutrical, boiled chicken and white rice (breakfast and dinner) I leave the Innova dry out durig the day when I go to work. I have noticed that since I have given the rice, it looks like their poop is filled with small pieces of rice. Are they not able to digest is completely or is it something else? I have been trying to read all about the tapeworms. I don't know what that would exactly look like and you said you went through it. Can you please explain it to me? I do give them about 2 tsp of the white rice 2x a day. I am not an expert on rice cooking, so I know that it may not have been fulled cooked soft, so I have just been assuming it is the rice. Also, I guess it could be piece of the wall too. The poop is filled with it all mixed in all different sizes. And they are hard. They really do look like little pieces of uncooked rice. Please help??? I am going to the VET Friday 7/15 in the AM to bring Roxy for her spay. I guess I should bring in some samples.

P.S. This is not the first I am seeing this in their poop. It really is there EVERYTIME I have ever given them rice! And I have also brought sample to the VET in the past when that was in the poop too and they never said anything to me. And thanks for the info on TOO MUCH NUTRICAL, I really think that is causing the really mushy poop.

ANY ADVICE and THOUGHTS are great appreciated!
