What part of Maryland are you in? I have had family tell me to be careful as well, since my baby is only 3lbs. I haven't seen any hawks, but it's always good to be aware! I wouldn't let my puppie out alone at all. Not only are hawks a threat, but the kidn of animals that walk on two legs are a threat too.
